Zimbabwe refugees & Cholera victims – 27 January 2009
Musina, Limpopo where thousands of Zimbabwean migrants arrive to escape what has become a dire social and economic situation in their country. Makeshift camps have been erected to accommodate those waiting for permits to work in South Africa.

Health Minister Barbara Hogan seen at Masina hospital, Limpopo. The politicians were there to visit Zimbabwean refugees and cholera patients. South Africa’s health department has set up a committee to implement a national program to combat the spread of cholera, a water borne disease that has affected both South Africans and, on a larger scale, Zimbabweans.
