Then National Executive member of the United Democratic Front, Trevor Manuel marches down Klipfontein Road, Cape Town, in a march organized by the ‘Standing for the Truth’ Campaign. The campaign was formed to commit a broad group of religious organizations to develop effective non-violent actions to oppose apartheid laws.

Outside the funeral of Coline Williams and Robert Waterwitch, 20 year old members of Umkhonto we Sizwe who were allegedly killed in a limpet mine explosion. Rumours abound that they were murdered after being tortured by apartheid police. The circumstances around their deaths remain unclear.
