Archbishop Tutu & Leah Tutu at the 30th Anniversary of Tygerberg Hospital 26 October 2004

Archbishop Emeritus, anti apartheid activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Desmond Tutu sits next to his wife of 53 years, Leah as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tygerberg Hospital, South Africa’s second largest hospital. The couple, well known for their work in human rights issues, are patrons of the hospital. With them are the Vice Chancellor of the University of Stellenbosch, Russell Bothman and (left) and NGO worker, Kevin Chaplin.
